EI60 fire windows

Door System offers EI60 and EI30 fire windows in cooperation with Swedish Stålprofil AB, a company who shares our attention to high quality in every detail to ensure that the solution offers optimal fire protection.

Fire windows fall within the new, stringent demands for fire protection effective from 1 November 2019, and therefore the fire windows must be tested and approved in accordance with the European standard.

Stålprofil AB also relies on DBI, The Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology, for tests and approval, which further emphasises the importance attached to product quality. Fire window EI60 has been tested and approved for concrete and plaster walls, and can also be combined to make up an entire glass wall, a solution which has also been tested and approved.

Hygiene and cleaning

The fire window comes with an acid-resistant stainless-steel frame, AISI316. The frame is smooth on the front, and the fire window is installed with a chamfered architrave and a chamfered installation list at the bottom. This makes the solution easy to clean, and it meets the food and pharmaceutical industries’ stringent demands for hygiene.

Tempered and laminated fire glass

The fire window is available with tempered fire glass as well as tempered and laminated fire glass. The glass protects against flames and thermal heat, and in case of a fracture, the lamination ensures that the glass splinters attach to the film.

Customised solutions

All fire windows are customised and come with bars. The fire windows may also be combined to form a separate glass wall. Our window solutions offer special advantages to the food and pharmaceutical industries and are supplied according to customer demands.
